After investing half a fortune in going digital, I'm returning to film. I'm learning a whole bunch by experimenting with the Olympus, but theres a certain way of thought that differs from the two: the digital photo lets you take an unknown amount of photos, without fearing for the economy to shatter. With the film, you could in no way know what the result would be before you got your scroll back a week later (the cheapest alternative). But to me, digital photo lost some of the good esthetics laying in goodol' film. Now it's more a question of taking as many shots as possible, and going for the chance of one being good.
What I want to achieve by going back to film, is the planning and work behind a shot. Making sure that one shot will be good, and actually planing it thoroughly.
Oh well. Point being, I guess, is that I'm returning to my Contax, and I've invested in a middle-format camera: the Bronica SQ-A.
Don't know where or when I'll return with photographic results, and if you know me by now, it might not happen for a while. I'm kinda slow...
Untill then: have fun, go mad, take care!
